ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Town of Shellbrook is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant.
The Administrative Assistant is an important part of the Town Office and will often be one of the first points of contact for residents, community groups, and visitors. The successful applicant will provide a high standard of customer service and assist with a wide range of inquiries while helping ensure residents and community groups are connected with the appropriate information and services.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, considerate, and enjoys working with people. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively, remain professional, and provide helpful and courteous service in a busy office environment.
The position also includes a variety of clerical and administrative duties. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum Grade 12 or GED
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- A positive and helpful approach when dealing with the public, community groups, and fellow staff
- The ability to manage a variety of tasks and priorities

The Town of Shellbrook currently has an exciting opportunity for Full-time, Part-Time and Casual Building and Grounds Operator Level 1.
The successful candidate(s) would be required to work varying hours dependent on the season, have a valid driver's license, willing and able to lift heavy items, enjoys working outdoors and can work independently.
